This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on this website.
This website sets one strictly necessary cookie, which records whether you have accepted or rejected analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies as described below. Nothing else is set: no advertising or social media pixel, no session recording, no A/B testing service and no third-party chat widget.
1.Strictly necessary: your choice
When you answer the cookie notice we store your answer in a cookie named sc_consent, set by this website only, for twelve months. It contains the word granted or denied and nothing about you. It exists so that we do not ask you again on every page, and it is used for nothing else. Because it is needed to honour your choice, it does not itself require consent.
2.Analytics: optional, and off until you accept
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, which links and buttons are used, and roughly where visitors come from. Before you accept, nothing from Google is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. If you reject, or never answer, the site behaves exactly as if analytics were not installed.
Google Analytics sets a cookie named _ga, which tells apart one browser from another, and a cookie beginning _ga_ which holds the state of your current visit. Both are set for this website only, and both last up to two years. Google does not store your IP address in Google Analytics 4. Event data is kept for fourteen months and then deleted.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC in the United States, acting as our processor. Data may be processed in the United States; the safeguards relied on for that transfer, and the wording of this paragraph, are being confirmed with our adviser before this policy takes effect.
3.Changing your mind
Choose Cookie settings in the footer of any page to see the notice again and change your answer. If you switch from accept to reject, the Google Analytics cookies are removed from your browser at that moment and no further data is sent.
4.Fonts and other assets
Typefaces are served from our own domain. The web fonts used on this site are downloaded when the site is built and delivered from the same origin as the page, so viewing this website does not cause a request to a font provider or reveal your visit to one.
5.Forms
The demo and contact forms submit to our own server. No cookie is set in order for them to work, and the information you type is used to reply to you rather than to build a profile or to target advertising.
6.Strictly necessary technology
Your browser and our hosting provider may store technical information needed to deliver the page: for example a temporary cache of files, or standard server logs recording that a request was made. This is ordinary web infrastructure rather than tracking, and it is not used to identify you or to follow you between sites.
7.The SlickCell application
This policy covers this website only. The SlickCell application, which shop staff sign in to, is a separate product and necessarily uses at least a session cookie to keep you signed in. Its own policy applies there.
8.If this changes
If we later add any other non-essential technology, this page will be updated to describe exactly what is in use and why, and we will ask for your consent again before setting anything new.
