Terms of service

SlickCell is operated by SLICK CELL LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16727691, whose registered office is 26 Adelphi Street, Preston, England, PR1 7BE. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. Its entry on the public register is at https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/16727691.

SlickCell is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription on one of four plans: Starter, Professional, Supplier Pro and Enterprise. Every feature is included on every plan; the plans differ by team size, locations, discounts, processing priority, backups and support level.

Published prices are £39.00, £59.00 and £99.00 per month, and £390.00, £590.00 and £990.00 per year, each excluding VAT. Enterprise is priced individually. The plan limits (app-access users, employee profiles and locations) are those published on the pricing page.

New subscriptions include a fourteen-day trial on the plan you choose, with the same features available as a paying subscription.

The trial's precise terms, including what is required to start one and what happens at the end of the period, are being finalised and will be stated here before these terms take effect.

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period chosen. All prices exclude VAT, which is charged at the applicable rate.

Card processing fees charged by our payment provider on your own customer transactions are separate from your subscription, go to that provider, and are not included in the plan price.

The billing cycle mechanics (timing of the first charge, of upgrades and of downgrades) are being finalised and will be stated here specifically.

Plans supporting multiple locations charge per additional location: £39.00 per month each on Professional and on Supplier Pro, excluding VAT. Enterprise includes additional locations.

How adding or archiving a location affects the amount charged in the current period is being confirmed and will be stated here.

You may cancel your subscription. The notice required, the effect on the current billing period and whether access continues until the end of that period are being finalised and will be stated here before these terms take effect.

The information you and your staff put into SlickCell (your customers, stock, repairs, invoices and staff records) remains yours. We process it to provide the service and on your instructions. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for our own marketing.

You can export your data. The formats and scope available on termination are being finalised and will be stated here.

You agree to use SlickCell lawfully, and not to attempt to gain access to other shops' data, to disrupt the service, to reverse engineer it, or to resell access without agreement.

You are responsible for your staff's use of the accounts you create, for keeping sign-in credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the information you record.

We work to keep the service available, and maintenance is carried out with as little disruption as we can manage. No specific availability commitment is offered at this time; if a service level is agreed for your account it will be recorded separately and will take precedence over this section.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

The remaining limitations of liability and the warranties given are subject to adviser review and will be stated here in full before these terms take effect.

If these terms change materially we will tell subscribers and update this page.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
