The data controller is SLICK CELL LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16727691, whose registered office is 26 Adelphi Street, Preston, England, PR1 7BE. If you are a shop using SlickCell to serve your own customers, note that the roles differ: for your customers' information you are the controller and we act as processor on your instructions. For your own account and billing information, we are the controller.

If you request a demo we collect your name, shop name, email address, and optionally your phone number, shop type, number of branches, the system you use now and anything you choose to write in the message field. If you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, optionally your shop name, the topic you select and your message.

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and which links and buttons are used. This is optional and off by default; until you accept, nothing is collected about your browsing. Google does not store your IP address, event data is kept for fourteen months, and you can withdraw your consent from the footer of any page. The cookie policy describes the cookies involved.

Enquiry information is used to reply to you and to arrange a demonstration. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to a business enquiry you initiated, or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

Analytics on this website is processed on the basis of your consent, given through the cookie notice, and only for as long as that consent stands.

Account and billing information for customers is processed to perform the contract between us. Where we are required to keep records for tax or accounting purposes, the basis is legal obligation.

Shops using SlickCell record information about their own customers, staff and stock: for example a customer's name and contact details against a repair, or an employee's record for rota and payroll purposes. That information belongs to the shop. We process it to provide the service and on the shop's instructions, and we do not use it for our own marketing.

The hosting locations and any transfers outside the UK or EEA, together with the safeguards relied on for those transfers, are being confirmed and will be stated here specifically before this policy takes effect.

We use service providers for hosting, data storage, payment processing, email and text message delivery, error monitoring and report summaries. The full list, with what each one does and where it operates, comes with our data processing agreement, which we provide to any customer who asks at hello@slickcell.com. Customers are given 30 days' notice before a provider is added or changed. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertising networks.

If you accept analytics cookies on this website, Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC process the resulting usage data as our processor, in the European Union and the United States, for the purpose of producing website statistics for us.

Website analytics data, where you have accepted it, is kept by Google Analytics for fourteen months. Enquiry information is kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Customer account records are kept for the life of the contract and for as long as we are legally required to retain them afterwards. Specific retention periods per category are being finalised and will be stated here.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask for deletion in certain circumstances, to object to or restrict processing, and to receive information you provided in a portable form.

Where processing rests on your consent, as website analytics does, you may withdraw it at any time; on this website, choose Cookie settings in the footer.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would prefer you raise it with us first so we can put it right.
